Affinity Photo Linear Scan Conversion

Affinity Photo Linear Scan

To get the best scan from a black and white negative, I always find that scanning as a RAW linear scan produces the best results.

Normally when I use Photoshop, I use a third party plugin called ColorPerfect to do the transition from negative to positive as I find this produces great results and I have a Mini Video course on using ColorPerfect if this is something you may be interested in.

Unfortunately, ColorPerfect is not compatible with Affinity Photo so I started to look if it was possible to come up with something which would at least give me a linear RAW scan negative to positive conversion which I was able to use as a starting point.

After a lot of trial and error I came up with 2 methods which I have made into Affinity Photo Macros for ease of use.
