Lightroom Film Notes Plugin
What Is The Lightroom Film Notes Plugin
The Lightroom Film Notes Plugin is a lightweight component which adds more functionality to the MetaData Panel. It allows you to add notes to single or multiple photographs simultaneously.
Typical Use Case For The Lightroom FIlm Notes Plugin
There are many ways in which the plugin can be used, the way I use it is to add notes to my film images which I have scanned. Usually, these notes consist of development times, developer types, Film ISO values etc.
Having this information stored in the Lightroom database allows me to quickly search through the catalogue looking for specific information, which I have entered into the Film Notes section.
One example maybe, I want to locate all images which I have developed in Kodak D23 Developer or locate all the photographs exposed on Ilford HP5 film.
The Film Notes Plugin extends the Lightroom Metadata box with a new section where you can enter your notes.
